In the Melodious case piece, utility and beauty work hand in hand by way of craftsmanship and intelligent design. Deep drawers painted a soft warm flesh tone hold and hideaway much of life’s collections, while the soft closer’s offset the noise of everyday life.
If the Melodious had its own tune it would be as fluid as its gold leafed drawer pulls, cut out as fluid fabric, a running river, the sound of the softest resonant violin. Its smooth edges exemplify this point and the heirloom quality of its construction and materials counters our fast and throughway trends of today.
To say that the Melodious is a link between art and design is not far from truth in the visual splendor it draws. In viewing the Melodious we are reminded of the paintings of Gustav Klimt, with their mosaic patterns, golden hues and fluid fabrics, the emotional connection that the hand created inspires, why craftsmanship never falls from creative grace.
